Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger addresses about his future at Stamford Bridge. The 28-year old has said that he is not rushing into signing a new contract with the Blues. He regards it as “the most important decision” of his career.

Germany international’s contract with Champions League winner will expire in June 2022. At present, Real Madrid, PSG, Tottenham and Bayern Munich, are reportedly interested in signing on a free transfer.

Rudiger cleared that he has not been in talks with any club other than Chelsea. The defender is not ready to make a rush on his new contract. He said to Sky Deutschland, “For me, this will now be the most important decision of my professional career. I haven’t spoken to any other club than Chelsea.”

Rudiger has been made seven appearances this season for Tuchel’s side and scored once. The Germany international has been an important part of Chelsea side and the Blues will not easily leave him. They might offer an extension to their centre-back next summer.
