Allegri wants 3 new players at Chelsea if he replaces Conte

Allegri has been linked with a move to Chelsea

Chelsea are struggling this season and planning a major overhaul this summer. Antonio Conte is also expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after an inconsistent second campaign.

Conte won Premier League in his debut season but struggled to replicate that form this season and Chelsea are on the verge of missing Champions League next season. Though the Italian still has 1 year left in his contract but the club is already looking for his replacements.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea have not given up on the prospect of luring Allegri from Juventus and Luis Enrique is no longer the clear choice to succeed Conte.

In recent past few weeks there were strong rumors that Allegri is going to join Chelsea this summer.

The report also claims that should Allegri decide to make the move to Stamford Bridge, he could attempt to sign Juventus trio Rodrigo Bentancur, Federico Bernardeschi and Miralem Pjanic.

Allegri would also have plans for Chelsea’s current squad, one of which includes giving back a first-team place to David Luiz and handing a prominent role to Cesc Fabregas.

In an recent interview, Juventus manager also claimed that he is planning to leave Serie A in foreseeable future:

‘Certainly I will go abroad,’ he told the Daily Telegraph. ‘In Italy, finished.’

‘And, yes, I don’t want to go being a coach forever.

‘Probably I would like to carry on being a club coach for another five or six years then I would like to coach a national team.’
