Ruben Loftus-Cheek, an Englishman whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer, is supposedly a target for AC Milan

According to 90Min, AC has reportedly questioned former blue Fikayo Tomori about his former colleague in an effort to learn more about the player.

As Chelsea prepares for a season without European competition next year and has to trim down their bloated squad, which has hindered them this season, Loftus-Cheek, 27, might be one of many players who leave the club this summer.

After appearing in the first 14 league games of the season and a run of five games from the end of February to the aforementioned date, Lotus-Cheek’s game time dramatically decreased and he has not appeared for the Blues since that date.

With just one year left on his Chelsea contract and a salary of £120,000 per week, Serie A giants may not have to pay a hefty sum to acquire Loftus-Cheek. He would rank among the greatest earners for the Italian team.

Loftus-Cheek hasn’t been an outcast completely in 2022–23, as evidenced by his 28 appearances for the Blues this season across all competitions, but considering how players like Tammy Abraham and Tomori have found new homes in Italy, perhaps the England international should move to AC where he could have the chance to start every single game.
