Maurizio Sarri is on the wish list of AC Milan as the Italian giants are contemplating to replace current manager Gennaro Gattuso.
Sarri’s position at Chelsea remains uncertain as the Blues are clinging for a Champions League spot with three games left this season. They are also scheduled to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League semifinal so Sarri does have an alternate route if his side misses the top four in the Premier League this term.
Milan have been an improved side under the former Italian midfielder this season but they are not assured of a top four place as Atalanta are also on the level with them and any slipups in the next matches could be a big blow to their European dream
Reports are hovering around that Sarri’s backroom staff are ready to pack their bags as they are aware of the fact they would be shown the door after the conclusion of this season.
The former Napoli manager had a wonderful start on the English soil but got carried away subsequently and now has a tough task to cut out. Milan are ready to induct the Italian if he does leave the Stamford Bridge this season.
