Glen Hoddle unsure whether Chelsea fans will see a lot more of RLC and CHO

Chelsea ran rampant yesterday at Dynamo Kiev with Olivier Giroud scoring his first Blues hattrick.

However, there were two other stars as well who shone brightly. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi. The two youngsters have been fringe players for Sarri this season but have performed whenever called upon. However, for Chelsea great Glen Hoddle has raised concerns whether anyone will see a lot more of them in the upcoming weeks despite such good performances.

Asked if he felt Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek will get more minutes this season, Hoddle told BT Sport: ‘I hope so, whether I think they are going to get those minutes I’m not so sure. Not this season, no. ‘I think in the quarter-final and if they get to the semi-final for this trophy, you’ll see the big guns come out again. ‘They’ve done well tonight, they can only play and show the manager what they’ve got against the opposition they’ve got to play against. ‘But I think when push comes to shove and there are going to be big games, and if they are going for the top four until the end of the season, no, I don’t see those two playing.’
