Eden Hazard Believes Maurizio Sarri's Style Suites Him More Than Jose Mourinho

Eden Hazard has insisted he likes the way Maurizio Sarri sets up his strategy than of Jose Mourinho as the current manager’s free flowing passing style can get the best out of him.

Manchester City players took care of Hazard in the 6-0 thrashing of the Blues as the Belgian forward was made to look pretty ordinary. Hazard has been pretty central to Sarri’s plans so far but couldn’t do much as City inflicted a heavy defeat on the West London giants.

Sarri’s future has been a subject of speculation as a number of reports stated that the club is looking for a possible replacement with Frank Lampard and Zinedine Zidane leading the race.

But the Chelsea hierarchy is unlikely to dismiss him and the next few games could decide whether the former Napoli manager would continue or not.

Hazard said, “All the managers I’ve played for have given me something.

“From when I started with Claude Puel at Lille, to now with Maurizio Sarri. They all see football in different ways which is why I’m the player I am. They have all given me important advice.

“Jose Mourinho was special, but the way Sarri and Rudi Garcia [former Lille coach] like to play is more like my philosophy of football, but they’ve all given me a lot.”
