Alvaro Morata could possibly move to Atletico Madrid but things remain unclear.

Diego Simeone moved away from any confirmation when asked. “The only thing I’m thinking about is the upcoming match against Levante,” the Argentinian said. “I don’t speak about players that aren’t with us, only those that are. I can’t confirm or deny anything because coaches wait to see what the club can do. Some players want more minutes, some could be sold by the club, some could arrive. We need to wait until January 31.”

Morata’s current boss Sarri also refused to shed any light. He said, “If Morata goes to another club we need a replacement. At the moment Morata is here, so he has to think only about playing. In this moment in Europe there are 300 players involved in the market. They only need to think about the next match otherwise it’s impossible to play.”

However, the final news is Morata was in Madrid for the weekend and it is being believed he is desperate to leave the club. Is he the correct option for them?

With the salary and the bad form and a possible compulsion to make a permanent move in the near future, should they just stay away from a striker whose best season so far has seen him produce just over 15 goals?
