The Alvaro Morata to Sevilla transfer story is slowly coming to life as his agent, Juanma Lopez was reported to have arrived at the La Liga club’s headquarters to negotiate personal terms over a move, according to Spanish news outlet, Estadio Deportivo.

Chelsea are ready to move for a replacement signing and are even considering bringing Michy Batshuayi back from his loan spell with Valencia. Morata’s horrific run in front of goal has clearly made him into an unwanted man at the Stamford Bridge.

The reports also read that Sevilla’s director of football, Joquin Caparros held talks with Morata’s representatives alongside Paco Gallardo. Morata is ready to end this London nightmare and is keen to move back to his home country.

Currently, it is unclear whether the 25-year-old will exit the Bridge this January or after the end of the 2018/19 campaign. With Olivier Giroud injured, Sarri might be forced into keeping Morata for the remainder of the season despite the striker failing to meet expectations.

Chelsea are currently still in the top four of the Premier League despite managing the worst goal-scoring tally among the top six. Sarri has been reported to be interested in a number of players in Europe including Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani.
