Chelsea’s on-loan striker Tammy Abraham reportedly failed to show up for training on Monday morning at Aston Villa.
The English forward who is on a season-long loan at Villa has enjoyed a bright spell at the club so far. He has scored 16 goals in 21 games and Villa boss Dean Smith was hoping that Abraham would stay at the club for a longer spell.
However, Smith also confirmed that the final decision would be up to the player. The contract of the loan deal has an option which would allow Chelsea to recall the player during the month of January.
With the given rumours of Wolves being interested in Abraham on a loan deal, Chelsea may well take up the option should Tammy give the go ahead.
If he does move to play for Wolves, he would getting some serious Premier League action as opposed to the Championship opponents he is facing right now. It would seem like an obvious choice for the player. However, he also needs to remember that the competition to start in the number nine role for Wolves would be big and he might not get the regular game time he currently does at Aston Villa.
