Alvaro Morata is reportedly on the verge of a move to Sevilla.

The Chelsea striker’s agent is ready to move on from Stamford Bridge after one and a half seasons at the club.

Morata arrived to Chelsea from Real Madrid having previously played for Juventus as well. He was a record signing for the Blues back then and was supposedly ready to replace Diego Costa.

However, after a decent start to his English career, Morata has flattered to deceive. The Spain forward has scored 24 goals in 72 games, a number which does not bode well for the first team striker of a major European team.

Maurizio Sarri has complained a few times this season at not having the most well-equipped team. The Chelsea forward has frustrated up front a number of times. He has been unable to link up with his teammates behind in Hazard and Willian. He has not been making best runs forward and has been caught offside way too often.

It is now being reported that he is ready to move to Sevilla, most probably on a loan move as Chelsea’s price tag on him will make him too expensive for the Spanish club.

They are in talks with his agent and we could very well see him move back to Spain this month.
