Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has bid farewell to Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas captained the Blues side in their 3rd round FA Cup match which Chelsea ended up winning 2-0 courtesy of two goals from Alvaro Morata. The Spanish midfield master is tipped to join Monaco this month and end his four and a half year spell at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard who has played a number of games with Fabregas in the Chelsea shirt has wished his teammate good luck. The duo performed extremely well together as they were able to reach each other’s game and Fabregas was one of the few Chelsea players who Hazard could blindly trust would find him no matter where he was on the pitch.

“In five years, I can say that I was lucky to play with him,” Hazard said. “Since the beginning when he came, we saw it the first year, we won the double together. Top guy on the pitch, off the pitch, a great friend of mine. Just admiration about this guy. I hope he will have a good future. It’s a bit hard now, but he’s still very good and he will enjoy.”

Hazard himself has been tipped with a move away and it might soon be time for the Belgian to bid farewell as well to Stamford Bridge.
