Maurizio Sarri Wants Eden Hazard Issue To be Resolved As Quickly As Possible

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has issued an ultimatum over the future of Eden Hazard.

The ongoing hassle regarding Hazard’s current contract has been the subject of speculation and Chelsea haven’t been able to convince him to renew his stay at the Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian’s current contract expires in 2020 and Chelsea must need to step up otherwise they could lose their valuable asset very cheaply. Real Madrid’s interest in the player is not new and the player recently also revealed his desire to don the Madrid jersey once in his career.

Chelsea have recently secured the long term future of a number of players and are ready to make Hazard their highest paid player. But the forward is in no hurry to discuss his future but Sarri has now asked the club to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

“I think we have to solve the problem. If we want to plan the future, we have to solve this problem.

I don’t know [what Hazard is thinking], but I think that it’s time to decide.”

“I have not the power to do this.

“I am the coach. I want to speak to him only about the position on the pitch.”
