Chelsea are set to make a bid for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson to solve their goal scoring crisis this January.

The Blues have been playing some extremely attractive possession based football under new head coach Maurizio Sarri this season. Sarrismo as it is being called has spread like wildfire at Stamford Bridge and the Blues look like a new side under the Italian.

Chelsea have moved on from their defensive football to a more attacking, open and explosive game and it means the forward players have had more freedom to express themselves. The forwards have been gifted chances galore and the best output has been put forth with the revelation of Eden Hazard who is having his best season in a Chelsea shirt.

However, the striker dilemma remains for the Blues with both Morata and Giroud failing to fire in the league, The duo has scored only 6 goals between them in the league and Sarri is apparently ready to move on from them by bringing in Callum Wilson from Bournemouth.

The 26-year old has scored 8 goals and made 5 assists in 15 league games this season and could prove to be worth only £30 million should Chelsea want to get the deal done.

Let’s wait and watch to see what surprise Chelsea fans get this time!
