Chelsea are reportedly in the hunt for France winger Florian Thauvin.

Thauvin has previously played in England for Newcastle United but his spell proved to be a disaster as he failed to adapt to English football. The player is currently playing in Marseille under head coach Rudi Garcia who has certainly been able to bring the best put of the player.

A rejuvenated Thauvin scored an impressive 26 goals last season helping his team to the finals of the Europa League. He has not slowed down this season either scoring 12 goals in 17 games for the French outfit and it is believed his stock is on the rise once again.

The player is reportedly being monitored by Chelsea who are keen on bolstering their attacking options. The Blues are off to an impressive start this season after a disappointing campaign last time under Antonio Conte. The Italian has been replaced by his compatriot Maurizio Sarri who has breathed an attacking style of football at Stamford Bridge.

However, Sarri is not completely satisfied with his front three with both Morata and Giroud failing to lead the line. Thauvin could prove to be an useful signing for the Blues with Pedro as well north of 30 now.
