Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic thinks that it’s too early to be thinking about a permanent move to the club.

Kovacic joined Chelsea on loan from Real Madrid this summer. He has made 9 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea this season so far, having started in 7.

Kovacic said that he hasn’t given a thought to seeking a permanent move to Chelsea. He said, “It’s too early for these questions, I am here and very happy. [Playing regularly] is good, I’m a little bit tired. I was not used to playing every three or four games and here it is very tough football. You can’t relax against anybody so it’s a little bit difficult but I really enjoy it. We have a great team, great fans and the city is nice. I like it a lot here.”

Kovacic has done pretty well at Chelsea so far and is among the club’s regulars. Chelsea do not have the option to buy the Croat once his loan ends but it should not come as much of a surprise if they sign him permanently next season.
