Sarri wants to end his coaching career at Napoli

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has said that he wants to manage Napoli one more time before the end of his manageria career. Sarri became Napoli’s manager in the summer of 2015, replacing Rafael Benitez.

Napoli finished in the top three of the Serie A in all of their seasons under Sarri. Sarri was Serie A’s coach of the year for the 2016-17 season. He won 97 of the 147 matches he managed Napoli with a win percentage of 65.99%.

The 59-year old joined Chelsea a day after Antonio Conte was sacked. Maurizio Sarri has managed Chelsea in 5 matches so far and has won all the Premier League matches.

When Sarri was asked if he wanted to manage Napoli again, he said, “I hope so. It may be my goal to end my career at Naples. But first I want to stay at Chelsea, in this wonderful club, for a long time. Here it’s all beautiful, there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s a dream to manage this club.”

Chelsea are currently second in the Premier League table below Liverpool. They have won all of their matches so far. Following the ongoing international break, Chelsea take on Cardiff City next Saturday before starting their Europa League campaign against Greek club PAOK.
