Cesc Fabregas has urged Chelsea star to at the club this summer

The player has been heavily linked with a summer exit

Eden Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in the summer of 2012 and is one of the club’s undisputed stars. He is considered as one of the best players in the world after performing at the highest level over the past few seasons.

The winger has scored 98 goals for the English side in 300 appearances. He has claimed two Premier League titles during his time in west London, along with FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League triumphs.

Despite Blue’s struggle last season, the Belgium International featured regularly for them and managed to score 17 goals in all competitions. He was very influential against Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup as he scored the winner in the 1-0 win, helping the team to grab their 8th FA Cup title.

Though the Premier League giants finished 5th in the Premier League and missed out on the the Champions League Football for the upcoming season. It’s the second time the club have missed out on a top 4 place in the past 3 years.

The 27 year old has been one of the stand out players in this year’s World Cup, scoring 3 goals and assisting 2. Though Belgium were defeated by France in the semi-finals but they defeated England in the third place play off.

The Belgian has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past couple of  transfer windows and with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving them to join Juventus this summer, he has again been linked with a move to the La Liga giant.

It is believed that Sarri has decided to wait until he returns from a three-week holiday on August 6 before addressing his future in person.

But Hazard’s club teammate Cesc Fabregas has claimed that he has been talking regularly with Hazard and urged him to stay at he club this summer amid transfer links.

“I won’t lie, I speak to him often,” said the Spain International as quoted by Telegraph. “He is the best player at the club and we need at Chelsea to keep the best players. He knows the fans love him and he’s a player we love to play with. For sure, we want him to stay.”
