The Blues have appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager last week after sacking Antonio Conte and also completed the signing of midfielder Jorginho from Napoli, the club’s first summer signing.
They have been behind in the transfer window in comparison to other Premiere League clubs but with the arrival of the Italian midfielder it is believed that it will finally kickstart their transfer plans.

But the 25 year old has been stalling on signing a contract extension at Stamford Bridge for a past couple of months and could leave on a free transfer next year when his contract expires.
The Premier League giants are keen to keep him but are also willing to sell him this summer rather than to let him leave on a free transfer at the end of the next season.
The London club was linked with a move for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker if the Belgium International leaves them. But the Brazil International completed a move to Liverpool earlier today, becoming the most expensive goalkeeper ever.
AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma has been added to a three-man shortlist of goalkeepers Chelsea want to replace Thibaut Courtois, reports the Evening Standard . The 19 year old joins Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel and former Blues keeper Petr Cech on that list.
