The Blues have ended their hunt for Senegal international

Chelsea will no longer hunt for Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly after they have reached and agreement to sign Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho from Napoli, according to reports from Napoli Calciolive

The Senegalese defender who plays for Italian side, Napoli has been associated with the Italian side for last 4-years.

Koulibaly joined the Italian side in 2014 on a five-year deal, for a fee around the margin of £6.5 million. In August 2014, Koulibaly made his debut dor the club in a UEFA Champions League play-off round qualifier against Athletico Bilbao. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Almost a month later after making his Napoli debut, Koulibaly scored his first goal for the Italian side against Palermo. The match ended in a 3-3 draw. Koulibaly has represented the Italian side in over 164 matches and has scored on 8 occasions.

Sarri along with Jorginho is expected to join Stamford Bridge by the end of the week. Sarri will be succeeding Antonio Conte.

Antonio Conte was sacked by the Blues after an official statement was released by the club which said,”

During Antonio’s time at the club, we won our sixth league title and eighth FA Cup. In the title winning season, the club set a then-record 30 wins in a 38-game Premier League season, as well as a club-record 13 consecutive league victories. We wish Antonio every success in his future career” they added.
