Chelsea could sign Maurizio Sarri on a free deal

The Italian club wants David Luiz on a cut off price

Antonio Conte took over the charge of Chelsea in the summer of 2016 and won the Premier League title on his debut season.

But the Blue’s title defense haven’t gone according to their plan as they have finished fifth and will miss the Champions League next season.

However the Premier League giants ended the season on a positive note by winning the FA Cup against Manchester United last week. Despite that Conte is still heavily linked with a move away from the club.

The Italian has been linked with a summer exit for quite some now after a decline in club’s performances this season. The coach’s future has been under scrutiny since before the season began, as he negotiated a pay-rise without extending his contract and complaints over the club’s transfer policy.

Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has been linked with move to Stamford Bridge should former Italy manager leave this summer. He has done a great job since he took over the Italian club and lost the Serie A title to Juventus by very small margins this season.

According to latest reports, Carlo Ancelotti is ready take over the charge of Ciucciarelli next season in anticipation that former Empoli manager will leave the club. He has already held talks with Zenit Saint-Petersburg but is understood to be ready to reject a £5.2 million-a-year offer.

This leaves the London club free to move for the 59 year old but they are not willing to pay his £7 million release clause as they are already facing a potential £9 million bill to sack their current manager.

Pertonopei are willing to let Sarri take over at Chelsea for free if they are able to get defender David Luiz in return, according to the Daily Telegraph. They are willing to waive his release clause if they are able to get the Brazilian for a cut-price fee of around £15 million.

The 31 year old has fallen out of favor this season and with just 1 year left on his contract, the defender is expected to leave the club.
