Antonio Conte’s first Champions League match with Chelsea couldn’t have gone any better.
Facing Azerbaijani minnows Qarabag, Chelsea romped to a 6-0 win on Tuesday night.
After losing their opening match at the season 3-2 at home to Burnley, the Blues have rebounded in style.
They’ve now won four games on the spin. During that period Chelsea have scored 12 goals while they’ve conceded just two at the other end.
Harry Kane v Everton
Last weekend in the Premier League, Tottenham won 3-0 away at Everton.
The goal of the game at Goodison Park came from Harry Kane.
Kane, who has yet to score a Premier League goal for Spurs in August, bagged a double against the Toffees. And his opener was memorable, as the England international found the target from over 30-yards out.
Kane put a ball into the mixer from the right hand side, and his effort sailed past Jordan Pickford.
After the Everton game, Kane admitted his goal was a fluke.
