Chelsea and Antonio Conte are eyeing up a shock January transfer as they look to add some more depth to their already deep squad selection.
What makes this one a strange one though, is that they are looking at adding depth to the striker position.
The player comes in the form of Ghanaian international and Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye who has been impressive of late.
Though, comes after Antonio Conte made it clear to Diego Costa that there was no room for him in the Chelsea squad after Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi.
With Morata injured and Batshuayi thrust into the deep end, maybe the Spaniard’s injury has brought some worry in terms of striking options.

Strangely, Boakye is actually quite well known for Antonio Conte who actually managed the player at Juventus when he signed it 2012.
